50TH ANNIVERSARY OF IVECO – O.G.R. Turin

Inaugural day of our member IVECO’s 50th anniversary celebration will be held on June 12, starting at 11:30 a.m. at Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin.

IVECO’s journey began in 1975, when five of Europe’s leading industrial vehicle manufacturers (Fiat Industrial Vehicles, with Officine Meccaniche and Lancia Special Vehicles, the French company Unic, and Germany’s Magirus-Deutz) decided to bring together 150 years of design and innovation experience under one name: IVECO, an acronym for Industrial Vehicles Corporation.

Through acquisitions, mergers and partnerships, IVECO has gained a leading role in the global road transport industry, establishing a consolidated presence as a manufacturer and commercial service provider in both major industrialized countries and emerging markets. Always synonymous with excellence, IVECO combines tradition and innovation to design vehicles ready to meet the most diverse needs of its customers.
