Presented the results of the annual observatory on Italian automotive components and mobility services
- 30/10/2023
On Oct. 23 at the Auditorium of the Automobile Museum in Turin, the 2023 edition of the Observatory on Italian Automotive Components and Mobility Services, a survey conducted by the Turin Chamber of Commerce and ANFIA, was presented.
For Marco Stella, President of the ANFIA Components Group: “In 2022, Italian component exports continued the growth trend that had already begun, with a positive change in the value of exports of 7.1 percent, amounting to 23.5 billion euros and a positive balance of 5.21 billion euros (which, however, does not fully offset the import of similar vehicles ed.) In the landscape of a highly articulated energy transition, companies in the sector indicate as priorities for action the reduction of the cost of energy, digitization of the business system and funding for research and development activities, to which we can add measures to support investments for production reconversions and incentives for reskilling and upskilling of workers.” Piedmont (34 percent), Lombardy (27 percent) and Emilia Romagna (11 percent) account for more than 70 percent of Italian components, followed by Veneto (9 percent), Tuscany (3 percent) and Campania (3 percent). The observatory report, presentations and event recording are available on ANFIA’s website.(click)
Attached is a summary of the meeting by Piorsandro Trevisan.
