“Understanding and Engaging with Africa: The Mattei Plan and the Tools of the ‘Sistema Italia’ for Industry” – Confindustria Brescia
Our founding member Confindustria Brescia is organizing a meeting for next June 24th entitled “Understanding and Intercepting Africa: Mattei Plan and Tools of the Italian System for Industry” , dedicated to local businesses to offer a concrete reading of the macroeconomic scenario of the African continent , examining risks and opportunities for exports and investments in the area.
The event, which will take place in person at 10:30 a.m. at the Confindustria Brescia headquarters at Via Cefalonia 60, will provide an opportunity to analyze the cooperation strategy promoted by Italian policymakers on the African continent and to present several subsidized financing tools designed to support the internationalization efforts of Brescia-based companies.
In fact, Africa is currently one of the regions with the greatest growth prospects globally. Population growth, infrastructure development, the rising demand for industrialization, and investments in the energy, manufacturing, agribusiness, logistics, and technology sectors will make the African continent an increasingly key market for international companies in the coming years. In this context, the Mattei Plan serves as a strategy for structured cooperation between Italy and certain African countries, with the goal of strengthening industrial, economic, and educational partnerships.
