Conference organized by our member ASSOLOMBARDA on September 24, 2025 at 1 p.m., at Pirelli‘s headquarters in Settimo Torinese (TO).
The automotive sector is going through a phase of profound transition. Recent data published by ANFIA (Associazione Nazionale Filiera Industria Automobilistica) show, even at the beginning of 2025, a significant slowdown in production in Italy: -25.3 percent overall, with a 37 percent drop in the manufacture of motor vehicles and a 15.4 percent drop in the production of parts, accessories and engines.
These are signs that confirm the need for a strategic rethink to effectively accompany the sector along a path of technological, industrial and environmental transformation.
The Automotive Action Plan, presented by the European Commission on March 5, is a first step in this direction, but it still lacks concrete and timely measures, as well as an organic strategy capable of strengthening the competitiveness of the European automotive industry, aligning energy costs with those of its main global competitors and introducing long-term structural interventions.
Confidential event, by invitation only. For the Cluster, Development Advisor Ing. Piersandro Trevisan will participate.
