States General IA – Lombardy Region

Regione Lombardia will launch the Stati Generali on Artificial Intelligence, an in-depth discussion and debate event dedicated to the impact of AI on research processes, innovation and the production system.

Artificial Intelligence is redefining research, business and society. Regione Lombardia is promoting a moment of discussion among institutions, science and industry to outline the role of AI as a strategic lever for territorial development.

An event dedicated to explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming research, innovation and business processes, and to identify the conditions necessary for it to become a concrete and strategic lever of competitiveness.

The States General brings together key players from academia, institutions and industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to AI: from data quality and availability to technology infrastructure, from skills to governance models.

At the center of the discussion was the role of the Lombardy Region as an innovation hub, capable of connecting ecosystems, enabling collaborations and accompanying the deployment of scalable, sustainable and locally impactful AI solutions.

Expected personalities include Giorgio Parisi, Nobel Laureate in Physics, and Lucilla Sioli, Director of the EU AI Office at DG CNECT of the European Commission.
