Collaborations with Universities and Research Centers
Research and technology transfer are carried out in Lombardy by 12 universities and numerous public and private entities. The Lombard Mobility Cluster has ongoing relationships with its members who institutionally carry out these activities.

The Lombard Mobility Cluster has ongoing relationships with its members who institutionally carry out these activities.
In particular with:
- the Politecnico di Milano, which expresses the Secretary General of the Cluster; the latter, within the Politecnico itself, holds the position of Full Professor of Ground Vehicle Engineering and within the National Technology Cluster “Transport Italy 2020” is responsible for coordinating the technical-scientific committee;
- the University of Brescia, which expresses the permanent secretary of the Sports Working Group, who is responsible within his university for the Automotive Engineering Group;
- the CSMT, also present with its own person in the different roles and responsibilities of the Cluster;
- the Catholic University of Milan, through involvement in Cluster activities and the development of innovative projects.
Among the most relevant initiatives and events should be highlighted:
- the new edition of the Strategic Research Agenda edited by the National Technology Cluster “Transport Italy 2020.”
- Support for the future edition of the work programs of the Lombardy Region;
- assistance and support for the development of 11 innovative projects (5 already funded by the Lombardy Region, assisted by the Polytechnic of Milan (4) and University of Brescia (1); 4 being formalized with the assistance of the University of Brescia and CSMT; 2 developed directly by our associates);
- the presence of the two universities at the Brescia and Milan events with work done and prototypes made by students as part of the Formula Student programs.
