“Generations of Entrepreneurs” – 2026 Annual Meeting of the Small Industry Section of Confindustria Brescia
The 2026 Annual Meeting of Piccola Industria, a division of Confindustria Brescia, will be held on July 1 at the Rocca di Lonato ( entrance from Piazza Corlo – Via Rocca, 2), starting at 6:00 p.m. (registration begins at 5:30 p.m.).
The meeting focused on one of the most important issues for the future of small and medium-sized enterprises: generational transition, a crucial phase in a company’s life cycle that requires awareness, planning, and the ability to navigate change.
Starting from this strategic juncture, the Assembly intends to explorethe evolution of family businesses more broadly, with a specific focus on SMEs, by analyzing how the choices and approaches currently being adopted in transition processes are already reshaping organizational models, governance structures, and development prospects.
The event will provide an important opportunity for discussion and in-depth analysis based on concrete data, thanks to a wealth of information: the results of the survey conducted by the Confindustria Brescia Research Center among its member companies.
The survey made it possible to collect detailed data on the status of generational transition processes in local businesses, highlighting where companies stand in the various stages of the process, the main challenges they face, and the strategies they have adopted or are in the process of developing.
During the event, this data will be presented and analyzed not only to assess current trends, but above all to understand how family businesses are evolving based on the decisions made today regarding generational succession, highlighting the challenges that remain and the opportunities to be seized.
The goal is to offer businesses not only a snapshot of the present, but also interpretive frameworks and concrete ideas to help them navigate the processes of change, identifying possible paths and tools to support an effective and sustainable transition.
