NEXT GENERATION MOBILITY: Cities Belong To The New Generation – Turin and live streaming

The Lombardy Mobility Cluster will sponsor the third edition of the Next Generation Mobility event, the mobility supply chain conference, to be held in Turin – Centro Congressi Unione Industriali.
Two days of conferences and meetings where companies, start-ups, universities and institutions will have the opportunity to discuss innovation, business opportunities, compliance and industry reforms.
The title Cities Belong To The New Generation was chosen for the 2024 edition of Next Generation Mobility, because it is also from mobility that decisions are made on how to design the city of the future.
Not only that, it is through the awareness of the next generation that the fate of our planet will be decided.
The process of decarbonization of mobility is the primary goal, which passes through both technological innovation and the creation of the prerequisites for a new approach and education of mobility.
In this regard, the challenges facing new generations will be manifold.
The UN’s 2050 estimates speak for themselves: the world’s population will reach almost 10bn, more than 2/3 of the world’s population will live in cities, 1.6bn inhabitants will be over 65.
Based on these predictions, how will mobility have to evolve?
What new needs will it have to respond to?
These are macro changes that require careful analysis and an action plan.
With this in mind, NGM24 aims to be a moment of reflection and confrontation to lay the groundwork for the next scenarios, in which sustainable mobility, inclusion and openness to all citizens will be at the center of the debate This year the event will host the two important appointments: the 5th National Conference on Urban Air Mobility and Advanced Air Mobility and the 2nd National Conference on Hydrogen and e-fuels.
