41st AIM National Conference – The future between research and innovation

September 9 - September 11

The Italian Metallurgy Association is proud to announce the 41st National Metallurgy Conference, scheduled for September 2026: a special edition that coincides with the 80th anniversary of AIM’s founding and aims to celebrate the history and future of Italian metallurgy.

The chosen venue is Brescia, a city that has always boasted a deep connection with metallurgy and steelmaking, which saw the birth of national steel production through electric furnace and more recently, has established itself as a hub for the processing of nonferrous metals, such as aluminum, brass and for the recycling of metallic materials.
On this particular anniversary, the AIM national also intends to provide a time for dialogue and sharing aimed at stimulating the interest of new generations and nurturing the curiosity and passion of those who will shape the future of metallurgy.

Alongside the scientific sessions, there will be an exhibition area dedicated to companies, which will allow participants to explore innovations in the field. The city will also offer participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in a unique context, where industrial tradition goes hand in hand with a rich historical and cultural heritage.
AIM invites researchers, professionals and companies to participate in this event, which will combine scientific reflection, dialogue with industry and enhancement of one of the most representative areas of Italian metallurgy.

The Cluster will be present with WG Coordinator ing. Francesco Braga.
