XXVII National Congress of the Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (AIMETA) – Brescia, Italy

The Lombard Mobility Cluster is pleased to sponsor the XXVII National Congress of the Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (AIMETA).
AIMETA, founded in 1966, brings together devotees of Mechanics in its various theoretical, experimental, technical, and applied directions.
The XXVII biennial AIMETA congress, organized by our associate University of Brescia, will open Sept. 7 at Teatro Grande and continue at Palazzo Calini ai Fiumi with scientific sessions until Sept. 10, 2026. The event usually gathers about 350 participants, many of them academics from various scientific-disciplinary fields, and this year aims to engage participants from Companies, Institutions, Universities and Bodies not only in terms of Mechanics, but also in terms of the History and Culture of the City of Brescia.
In this context, the Lombard Mobility Cluster wants to foster the meeting between the excellence of the area’s mechanical industry and Italian academic specialists in mechanics, because mechanics has been and is for the Lombard (and Brescian in particular) territory of peculiar economic, historical and cultural relevance.
For these reasons, we intend to spread the invitation to our members who will be able to:
- Attend the congress as auditors;
- Present a paper with scientific content (Field Lesson) as speakers in the parallel sessions by submitting an application by May 1, 2026;
- Sponsor the event by applying by March 15, 2026.
