SUMMARY:Clean Hydrogen Alliance: presentation of reports on H2 supply corridors and infrastructure financing.
DESCRIPTION:The European Clean Hydrogen Alliance\, a European hydrogen association of which our cluster is a member\, will present the results of its two most recent reports\, the Learnbook on Implementation of Hydrogen Supply Corridors and the Learnbook on Financing of Hydrogen Infrastructure\, during a panel discussion on transmission and distribution issues on January 22 at 10 a.m.CET. The Learnbook on Implementation of Hydrogen Supply Corridors describes how the six identified hydrogen supply corridors will be created by 2030 through projects. The report also includes a description of the technical characteristics and interconnections of each corridor\, as well as their potential contribution to the development of the hydrogen economy in the EU. A characteristic that can still be the key to reaffirming the country in the elite of the automotive industry\, even for mass production.  \nThe electrification of mobility brings with it major challenges for the industry\, alongside great opportunities to be seized. But how is the national supply chain positioned in the new geo-industrial auto chessboard? How ready is it for the ongoing technological revolutions? DESCRIPTION:Taking advantage of the presence in Turin of Mirela Atanasiu\, Head of Unit Operations and Communication of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership\, Polito\, H2IT and ENEA are organizing the national in-depth event on the Call 2024 (In Presence and Online\, on January 24 from 2 p.m. at the Polytechnic University of Turin)\, aimed at all public and private entities interested in participating in the Clean Hydrogen Partnership call: universities\, public and private research centers\, small businesses and large industry. The Clean Hydrogen Partnership is the public-private funding program established with the goal of helping to accelerate the transition to a clean hydrogen economy.  \n The call for proposals opened Jan. 15; a total of 184.5 million euros will be made available through Horizon Europe for projects covering research and innovation activities along the entire hydrogen value chain. \nDuring the afternoon\, the Partnership will be presented and the new call will be explained\, delving into the technical aspects and conditions of participation of individual calls. The electric bus is now a well-established reality\, with market shares growing steadily and rapidly: in the first half of 2024\, e-buses reached 16 percent of sales in Europe\, and in Italy the share of new battery-powered city buses has well exceeded 30 percent. In several cities in Italy\, the numerical size of e-buses has reached the connotations of “fleets \,” and the time is therefore ripe for a comparison on the strategies adopted and the returns on experience\, in a continuous technological evolution that concerns both the vehicle and the facilities for recharging and overall energy management\, in a “systemic” perspective that increasingly depicts their added value right from the design stages. Turin and Genoa\, together with Bergamo\, represent for the sector national excellences with fleets of electric buses now substantial\, large planned investments\, and an experience gained over the years on rather heterogeneous operating contexts. SUMMARY:Technological innovation and energy transition INNOVATION FUND 2024 - Focus Hydrogen and batteries for electric vehicles
DESCRIPTION:We gladly disseminate this interesting event organized by our associate Innovhub – Experimental Stations for Industry that presents two new calls for Innovation Fund recently launched (IF24 Call e IF24 Battery Call)\, intended to support interventions to decarbonize production systems and the production of batteries for electric vehicles. The two calls have a total budget of €3.4 billion from EU-ETS proceeds. The main features of the new financing instruments will be presented on Feb. 2025 at the conference organized by MASE\, in collaboration with Innovhub SSI and Unioncamere. European and national experts will delve into the eligibility requirements and selection criteria of the calls and provide useful information and tools to package successful project proposals. The event aims to promote the knowledge and participation of Italian companies and foster networking among participants. In the afternoon\, interested companies will also be offered the opportunity to participate in in-depth meetings with MASE experts (one-to-one meetings\, lasting up to 20 minutes\, must be booked at the link that is sent with the registration confirmation). The event is organized on an in-person basis in order to maximize member involvement. For those who cannot be present\, remote participation is available (to be specified at registration)\, with the possibility of asking questions via chat.
