DESCRIPTION:The Lombardy Mobility Cluster will sponsor the third edition of the Next Generation Mobility event\, the mobility supply chain conference\, to be held in Turin – Centro Congressi Unione Industriali.\nTwo days of conferences and meetings where companies\, start-ups\, universities and institutions will have the opportunity to discuss innovation\, business opportunities\, compliance and industry reforms.\nThe title Cities Belong To The New Generation was chosen for the 2024 edition of Next Generation Mobility\, because it is also from mobility that decisions are made on how to design the city of the future.\nNot only that\, it is through the awareness of the next generation that the fate of our planet will be decided.\nThe process of decarbonization of mobility is the primary goal\, which passes through both technological innovation and the creation of the prerequisites for a new approach and education of mobility.\nIn this regard\, the challenges facing new generations will be manifold.\nThe UN’s 2050 estimates speak for themselves: the world’s population will reach almost 10bn\, more than 2/3 of the world’s population will live in cities\, 1.6bn inhabitants will be over 65.\nBased on these predictions\, how will mobility have to evolve?\nWhat new needs will it have to respond to?\nThese are macro changes that require careful analysis and an action plan.\nWith this in mind\, NGM24 aims to be a moment of reflection and confrontation to lay the groundwork for the next scenarios\, in which sustainable mobility\, inclusion and openness to all citizens will be at the center of the debate This year the event will host the two important appointments: the 5th National Conference on Urban Air Mobility and Advanced Air Mobility and the 2nd National Conference on Hydrogen and e-fuels.\nAmong the keynote speeches\, we highlight the one by our Eng. SUMMARY:"Biomethane for sustainable mobility: the green evolution of the internal combustion engine."
DESCRIPTION:The conference\, organized by FEDERMETANO with the support of the CEM Consortium and of Ecomotive Solutions\, will be held on Wednesday\, September 18\, 2024 from 10 a.m. at ACI\, Assembly Hall\, Via Marsala 8\, Rome. \nThe central theme of the event will be biomethane: the Italian renewable fuel\, here and now.\nA champion of circular economy under the banner of reuse\, it uses ready-made and traditionally Made in Italy technologies.\nIts distribution and service network is mature and widespread and represents a strategic asset of the country.\nIf the future of mobility is to be 100% sustainable\, biomethane is an optimal solution.\nFuel that is neutral in terms ofCO2 emissions and in some cases even carbon-negative\, it represents an ideal resource forautotraction.\nIts production brings positive employment effects to the local area and also contributes to energy autonomy.\nBlended or in purity\, compressed or liquefied\, biomethane already replaces more than 60 percent of fossil natural gas delivered in autotraction without requiring modifications\, either to infrastructure or engines.\nIt can therefore be used as a fuel for private mobility\, short- and long-distance freight transport\, and public transportation.\nThanks to retrofitting technologies that represent Italian excellence\, a vehicle powered by gasoline\, but also diesel\, or electric hybrid\, can be converted to biomethane\, now also with state incentives.         \nThe study “The Multiple Values of Biomethane for Sustainable Mobility\,” carried out by RIE\, in which the aforementioned aspects will be highlighted\, will be presented during this in-depth day.\nAn example of the fleet of FIAT Panda hybrids converted to biomethane in collaboration with Ecomotive Solutions will be on display at the conference.  \nThe detailed program will be available soon. \nRegistration is required to enter the hall. \nREGISTER HERE

DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, Nov. 7\, the 2024 General Assembly of our member companies Confindustria Bergamo and Confindustria Brescia\, jointly organized\, will take place atthe Logistic Park of Milan Bergamo Airport in Seriate\, via Paderno 62 D\, starting at 4:30 p.m. (and possibility of accreditation from 3:30 p.m.). \nIt continues the path of connection undertaken last year to consolidate the industrial leadership of the two provinces as the “Manufacturing Platform of Europe.”  From the analysis carried out in this year of work between the two Associations\, some directions have emerged to enhance territorial synergy\, to better dialogue with institutions and with European industrial supply chains\, whose safeguarding and strengthening must be at the forefront of Brussels’ strategic orientations and policy agenda. \nTo better explore the many stimuli that have emerged\, we will host as speakers the Lombardy Region’s Councillor for Economic Development Guido Guidesi\, Professor of Industrial Economics at the University of Parma Franco Mosconi\, as well as the Delegate for National Confindustria on European Strategic Autonomy\, Mattei Plan and Competitiveness Antonio Gozzi and our President Emanuele Orsini. \nAlso with them were representatives from CEFIC\, the European Chemical Industry Council\, and CLEPA\, the European Association of Automotive Component Manufacturers. \nConfindustria Bergamo President Giovanna Ricuperati and Confindustria Brescia President Franco Gussalli Beretta will discuss projects to work on to give this virtuous connection a future. \nA not-to-be-missed event for entrepreneurs\, but also for employees\, whom we warmly invite you to involve in this very special afternoon\, intentionally open to the local area and to those who wish to better and better understand the key role of industry and its human capital. \nAt the end\, in the facility set up for the occasion\, a valuable time of conviviality and networking awaits us. \nThe Cluster will be present with a manned desk. \nParticipating in the event are President Dr. Saverio Gaboardi and Eng. DESCRIPTION:Second edition of an event dedicated to important issues and emerging technology trends organized by the Politecnico di Torino at the Aula Magna\, 24 Corso Duca degli Abruzzi. Speakers from industry and academia will speak in three sessions\, titled “Trends in sustainable vehicles\,” “Autonomous and connected vehicles” and “Emerging technologies and components.” There will also be an exhibition of prototypes\, posters and visits to the laboratories of the CARS Interdepartmental Centers – Center for Automotive Research and Sustainable Mobility  and PEIC – Power Electronics Innovation Center who are organizing the workshop. SUMMARY:"Changes in progress: towards biomethane autotraction" - FEDERMETANO conference c/o Ecomondo Fair\, Rimini
DESCRIPTION:Conference organized by Federmetano\, Friday\, November 8\, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\, in attendance in the Mimosa Room – Hall B6 at Fiera Ecomondo\, Rimini Expo Centre. \nThe central theme of Federmetano’s conference will be biomethane: a renewable fuel produced through the reuse of waste\, residues and refuse that is CO2-neutral and can make an even greater contribution to the decarbonization of transportation than it is already doing now. \nTraditionally Made in Italy biofuel\, it can be used without any modifications to vehicles powered by fossil methane and can be transported and dispensed from the infrastructure present throughout Italy\, including islands. A distribution network that excels in Europe and can now also count on the implementation of self-service. \nThe year 2024 represents a milestone on the path to decarbonization of Italy’s natural gas autotraction: given the potential production capacity of the more than one hundred biomethane production plants for autotraction that have come into operation from 2018 to date\, the total replacement of fossil natural gas with the bio product is expected this year.
