DESCRIPTION:Open Day of the ITS Academy pathway of the Lombardy Mechatronics Foundation\, atIIS Cerebotani\, via G. Galilei 1\, Lonato del Garda (BS). \nAs in previous years\, an experiential approach is proposed\, actively involving the Foundation’s partner companies. In particular\, in the second part of the event\, companies will have the opportunity to set up their own exhibition booth.  \nThe goal is to offer young people (accompanied by families\, schools and other stakeholders) a concrete opportunity to get in touch with the world of mechatronics\, conveying their passion for their work and enhancing the prospects for growth in a highly transversal and innovative sector. \nParticipation to be confirmed by May 2\, 2025\, by filling out the online form at the following link: online open day membershipform   \nThe form will also include the name and contact details of a company contact person\, who will later be contacted directly by the Foundation’s contact person\, Valentina Guglielmi(comunicazione@itslombardiameccatronica.it)\, for any organizational details. \nWe anticipate that a booth with 220V electrical connection will be provided for each participating company. Companies will be able to use the space to display information materials\, products\, models\, screens with promotional videos or any other items agreed upon with the organization.  \nFor the Cluster\, President Dr. Saverio Gaboardi will participate.

DESCRIPTION:The seminar “BRESCIA DNA FUTURE – DEMOGRAPHY\, IMMIGRATION\, DIGITAL\, COMPETENCES – The Four Challenges of Today and Tomorrow” is organized by Confindustria Brescia in collaboration with the Observatory for the Territory (OpTer) of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.\nThe event is scheduled for Wednesday\, May 21\, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Association’s Beretta Hall (Via Cefalonia 62\, Brescia) and  will be an opportunity to present the main findings of the research of the same name\, which analyzes the evolution of the Brescian production system over a medium- to long-term horizon.\n \nThe study focuses in particular on a number of key phenomena that are already profoundly affecting the economic and social fabric of our area\, such as population decline and its impacts\, the still partial integration of immigrants into society and businesses\, and the ongoing digital transformation\, including the rapid spread ofartificial intelligence.\nThe goal is to offer a strategic and integrated vision to address these challenges\, identifying concrete actions at the local and national levels: from demographic and migration policies\, to initiatives for training\, innovation and inclusion\, thanks also to the intervention of important guests from the institutional world.\n\nAfter institutional greetings by Franco Gussalli Beretta (President Confindustria Brescia) and Mario Taccolini (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore)\, speakers – moderated by journalist Dario Di Vico – will be Giovanni Marseguerra (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore)\, Filippo Schittone (General Manager Confindustria Brescia)\, Davide Fedreghini (Centro Studi Confindustria Brescia)\, Maddalena Colombo (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore)\, Daniela Bragoli (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore) and Ivana Pais (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore).\nThis will be followed by a panel discussion\, featuring Laura Castelletti (Mayor of the Municipality of Brescia)\, Franco Gussalli Beretta (President of Confindustria Brescia) and Simona Tironi (Councillor for Education\, Training\, and Labor\, Lombardy Region).\n\n\nMore info and registration instructions at the following LINK_REGISTRATION.\n\nFor the Cluster\, President Dr. Saverio Gaboardi will participate.
