DESCRIPTION:Open Day of the ITS Academy pathway of the Lombardy Mechatronics Foundation\, atIIS Cerebotani\, via G. Galilei 1\, Lonato del Garda (BS). \nAs in previous years\, an experiential approach is proposed\, actively involving the Foundation’s partner companies. In particular\, in the second part of the event\, companies will have the opportunity to set up their own exhibition booth.  \nThe goal is to offer young people (accompanied by families\, schools and other stakeholders) a concrete opportunity to get in touch with the world of mechatronics\, conveying their passion for their work and enhancing the prospects for growth in a highly transversal and innovative sector. \nParticipation to be confirmed by May 2\, 2025\, by filling out the online form at the following link: online open day membershipform   \nThe form will also include the name and contact details of a company contact person\, who will later be contacted directly by the Foundation’s contact person\, Valentina Guglielmi(comunicazione@itslombardiameccatronica.it)\, for any organizational details. \nWe anticipate that a booth with 220V electrical connection will be provided for each participating company. Companies will be able to use the space to display information materials\, products\, models\, screens with promotional videos or any other items agreed upon with the organization.  \nFor the Cluster\, President Dr. Saverio Gaboardi will participate.

DESCRIPTION:The mobility sector is undergoing an unprecedented transformation\, driven by technological innovation and a changing economic environment. The need to ensure\, at the same time\, economic and environmental sustainability is redefining strategies and business models\, forcing all players in the sector to adapt rapidly. In Europe-and in our country in particular-the diffusion of electric vehicles is proceeding slowly\, held back by high costs and the need to improve the user experience.   \nIn parallel\, Smart Mobility and Smart Road projects are taking off\, supported by the expansion of V2X networks\, the advancement of autonomous driving technologies\, and strategic initiatives at the national level. Connectivity\, data and Artificial Intelligence play a central role\, enabling increasingly personalized and accessible experiences. The future of mobility relies on smart infrastructure\, digital services\, and increased consumer focus\, with the goal of balancing innovation and sustainability to revitalize the European industry.   \nThe conference will be an opportunity to present market numbers\, analyze the consumer perspective\, news on the electric vehicle front\, geopolitical scenarios\, the evolution of V2X technologies\, the role of AI\, and the impacts arising from new business models that are transforming the industry. \nAttendees in attendance will have free access to the printed report with the main results of the Research. \nOn the day of the event\, it will be possible to experience first-hand the most innovative solutions on the market thanks to the presence of smart vehicles displayed outside the venue and Demo Corners where some companies will show their technological developments in Vehicle & Mobility.\nAttendees in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions of company speakers during the event\, via QR Code found inside the badge. \nFree event\, open to the public upon registration HERE. \nParticipating for the Cluster will be Development Manager Eng.
